What We Believe

We are strong and active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (also known as the Mormon Church). If you aren't familiar with our religion, let us share a few of our key beliefs with you.

We believe that all of us are children of a loving Heavenly Father and that he answers our prayers.

We believe that God's Son, Jesus Christ, is our Savior and that he made it possible for us to return to live with God again after this life.

We believe that families who are sealed together in a Holy Temple are able to be together not only for this life, but in the afterlife as well. We were married for time and eternity in one such Temple, and have faith that we, along with our children, will be together forever. Family is a major focus of our faith.

We are Christians, and believe in the Bible and learn from it regularly. We also believe in another book of scripture called the Book of Mormon, which was written by prophets (like the Bible) who lived on the American Continent before, during and after the time that Jesus Christ lived on the Earth. We believe that prophets exist today just as they did in Christ's day. We believe that God continues to communicate his love for us through our current prophet.

Finally, we believe in doing our absolute best to be honest, faithful and good people. We try very hard to be good neighbors, friends and members of our community. If you would like to know more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, please follow one of the links below.
